What is my purpose?

What is my gift to give to the world?  The written word.  I live it, I love it, I teach it, I share it. 

I knew the alphabet was I was two.  When I was five I could not wait to read.  I wrote my first story when I was six.  And I haven't slowed down a bit.  I want to learn everything there is to know about language. 

I love the way the perfect word resounds when you say it or write it.  I love the way a string of words can make the most powerful statement.  And I love how words can take the stories from the depths of my soul and pour them onto paper so others can read them.

I am on the brink of continuing my college education, and I could not be more excited about all the English courses I can take.  Beowulf.  Icelandic Sagas.  All different tales from different backgrounds that inspire my own writing.

Ah!  I'm so excited!
